01Services

What we do

Three ways to work with us, each with concrete deliverables and senior engineers accountable for the result.

  • Core service

    AI solutions & agents

Copilots, agents, RAG search and workflow automation built for production: evaluated against your data, observable, and cost-aware.

You get · Use-case discovery · Evaluation set + benchmark · Production agent or API · Monitoring + runbook

  • End-to-end product delivery

We own the build from discovery to launch: architecture, implementation, QA, deployment and handoff.

    You get · Architecture spec · Working software · CI/CD · Docs + handoff

  • Team augmentation

Senior engineers who join your team, your tools and your rituals, and ship from week one.

You get · Senior engineers · Weekly reporting · Flexible monthly terms

  • Stellar & Soroban engineering

Soroban smart contracts, smart accounts and policies, and AI agents that transact on Stellar, from the team that builds and maintains stellar-mcp and Stellar JEV Policies.

You get · Rust contracts + tests · Threat model · Audit preparation · Testnet → mainnet

  • Architecture & technical advisory

Senior review of system design, code and delivery plans, or technical due diligence before you invest.

You get · Written assessment · Prioritized roadmap · Code review

  • Web apps, APIs & integrations

Web apps, internal tools, APIs and integrations with clean architecture, tests and maintainability built in.

You get · Typed codebase · Automated tests · Deploy pipeline

  • Modernization & rescue

Stabilize, document and incrementally modernize existing systems without stopping delivery.

You get · Codebase audit · Stabilization plan · Incremental migration

02Process

How we deliver

Speed from AI-assisted engineering, with the guardrails of a disciplined process.

  1. 01

    AI-assisted pipeline

Engineers work with AI coding agents to move from spec to working code quickly, with humans owning architecture and decisions.

  2. 02

    Code review on every change

Every change lands through a pull request and is reviewed before it is merged.

  3. 03

    Continuous integration

Builds, linting, type checks and tests run automatically on every change.

03Stack & quality

Tools we know deeply, and how we keep them safe

A focused stack across AI, product and Web3, with engineering practices that hold up in audits and production.

AI & agents

  • LLM apps and agents
  • RAG and retrieval
  • Evaluation and benchmarks
  • MCP tooling
  • Python

Product engineering

  • TypeScript
  • Next.js and React
  • Node.js APIs
  • Postgres
  • Vercel

Web3

  • Rust
  • Soroban smart contracts
  • Stellar SDK
  • Passkey smart accounts
  • x402 payments
  • Specs before code

Architecture docs, sequence diagrams and a threat model are written and reviewed before implementation starts.

  • Reviewed, tested changes

Every change ships through a pull request with CI running builds, linting, type checks and tests.

  • Measured AI

AI features ship with an evaluation set and explicit thresholds, so quality and cost are measured, not assumed.

  • Secrets and keys

Keys never live in repositories; least-privilege access and reviewable deploys are the default.

  • Security reviews

Smart contracts get invariants, negative tests and an external audit step budgeted before mainnet.

  • You own everything

Code, infrastructure and documentation live in your accounts from day one, with a clean handoff.

04How we help

Example engagements

Illustrative examples of the kinds of engagements we take on. Every project is scoped to your goals.

AI strategy consultancy

The challenge
Leadership knows AI matters but not where it pays off, what to build, or what to buy.
What we do
We map your workflows and data, rank use cases by value and feasibility, and deliver a roadmap with build-vs-buy recommendations.
Typical outcome
A clear, prioritized plan your team can act on, with the risky assumptions named up front.

Custom AI product build

The challenge
A promising LLM prototype that isn't reliable, measurable or ready for real users.
What we do
We take it from prototype to production: architecture, an evaluation set, observability, cost controls and a deploy pipeline.
Typical outcome
A production AI product whose quality and cost are measured, not guessed.

Adding agentic workflows to your business

The challenge
Operations teams lose hours to repetitive work like support triage, reporting and back-office tasks.
What we do
We build agents that automate those workflows inside your tools, with human approval steps, guardrails and audit logs.
Typical outcome
Routine work handled automatically, with people staying in control of the decisions that matter.

Team augmentation

The challenge
Your roadmap is ahead of your hiring plan.
What we do
Senior engineers join your team, tools and rituals, and ship through your code review and CI from week one.
Typical outcome
More delivery capacity without a long hiring cycle, on flexible monthly terms.

06FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How working with Stratocaster Ventures works in practice.

How does an engagement start?

Email us with a short description of what you need. We schedule an intro call, clarify goals and constraints, and send a written proposal with scope, team and timeline before any work begins.

Do you sign contracts and NDAs?

Yes. Every engagement runs under a written services agreement, and we're happy to sign your NDA (or provide ours) before you share anything confidential.

Who owns the code and IP?

Typically you do. Code, documentation and other deliverables are assigned to you on payment, and they live in your repositories and accounts from day one.

How does invoicing work?

We invoice through our Mexican entity, STRATOCASTER VENTURES SA de CV, and can invoice international clients.

Where are you based, and what about time zones?

We're based in Guadalajara, Mexico, on Central Time (CST), which gives us strong working-hour overlap with clients across the US.

Who is on the team?

A 6-person team: a designer, a project manager, two developers and two blockchain developers. Each engagement is staffed from this team based on what the work needs.

What stack do you use, and how do you ensure quality?

We work mainly in TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, Python and Rust/Soroban. Every change goes through code review and CI with builds, linting, type checks and tests.

How long do projects take?

It depends on scope. We agree milestones in the proposal and deliver in short iterations, so you see working software early and often.

Can your engineers join our existing team?

Yes. With team augmentation, our engineers work inside your tools, processes and rituals, on flexible monthly terms.
